Visiting the Latham's for Dax's 1st

We had a wonderful weekend of family and sunshine. Nik and I took the pups out to Idaho to celebrate Dax's first birthday. The dogs loved the freedom to roam and Nik and I embraced the best weather we had seen all year. Thanks again Lathams for putting us up. I know it isn't easy, but we always have the best time and we love seeing you guys.

Dax decided since he was turning 1, that it was time for him to walk. He showed off his skills getting braver and stronger each time. It was very cool to see. Unfortunately, the video wouldn't upload. 

Nik and Zach also got to sneak away for a day to go skiing. Nik was so excited to be in the backcountry earning his turns. He said it was a tough hike up but well worth it on the way down.
