Since we don't have any family nearby, Nik and I woke up Easter morning having no idea what we would do for the day. We decided we needed to head West to the beach with the dogs. Cannon Beach was our destination and it proved to be a wonderful decision. The dogs had a blast swimming in the water, chasing Nik around and ME loved eating the sand. It was a beautiful day and a perfect way to spend the day with our family. After the dogs playtime we walked the town for a bit, had a slice of pizza and made sure to grab some local fresh taffy for the ride home. It was sunny, warm and gorgeous out. Something we both have been craving for sometime.
Nik's cousins' in-laws live in Portland and they invited us over for an Easter dinner. After we got back from the beach we went to their house and enjoyed a wonderful dinner of ham and all the fixings. The dogs played in the yard, we watched the end of the Master's Golf and we took in the last little bit of sunshine we could get.
