We had a wonderful time with Mom and Ben when they came to town last weekend. The weather turned out for the better and we made sure to enjoy every last minute.
We enjoyed one of many farmers markets around town. Breakfast burritos, almond butter and some local jam were things we made sure to indulge in.

We took a trip out to Cannon Beach and Astoria. Enjoying the great views, good food and making sure to get our history lesson on Lewis and Clark. We visited one of their forts they built and lived in during the winter months.

Lastly, we took a tour of Portland's Underground. It was more a history tour of the corrupt city and the people that used to reside here. But, they also talked about the stories of people being shanghaied and shipped out to sea to work on fishing vessels for months at a time.
We had so much fun with Mom and Ben and we can't wait until they come back next time Thanks for coming and we miss you guys already.
