Welcome to the world Miss McKinley. She was born on Tuesday 11/20/2012 at 1:36 pm. She weighed in at 8 lbs 14.9 oz and was 19.5 inches long. Momma had quite a long labor. It started around 7 pm on Monday night after going to an acupuncture appointment to induce the labor. By 2am it was time to go to the hospital.
Our midwife, Lynn Anderson, did a fantastic job and Nik was the most amazing coach ever. He was there every step of the way. After 18 hours of labor 3.5 hours of pushing, we welcomed into the world our little Miss McKinley.
We couldn't be happier, she is the most beautiful and precious thing we have ever laid eyes on and we are completely and utterly in love. This Thanksgiving we have so many wonderful things to be thankful for, but most importantly we are the proud parents of a healthy baby girl. It was also Nik's birthday on Thanksgiving this year, so we had a lot of celebrating to do this past weekend. Happy Birthday poppa!!
