Nik was so sweet to surprise me with a lunch at home on Valentines. He got me some starters for our garden, some flowers for the house and mini peanut butter cups (my favorite). I made him a nice dinner of chicken piccata. We told each other not to do anything, because we feel we should celebrate each other everyday. Of course, we did, but kept it simple.
This weekend we were able to plant our new plants. All seasonal to this time of year, so hopefully they survive. Lettuce, oregano, rosemary, chives and sweet peas. We will keep you updated with the progress.
