Meet ME

Meet our new family member. Her name is pronounced Emmie. It comes from the name Mini Me, because she looks like a mini Wanda.  So, instead of the name Mini Me, we call her M.E. She has really bonded with Wanda and the two play constantly. Now that we have a puppy we realize the small things are huge successes. Examples are: Learning how to go to the bathroom outside. She is about 95% there, we just have to make sure we let her out. Sleeping through the night. The second night we were second guessing our decision of getting a puppy, because she kept us up all night whining and howling. The next day we got her a kennel and she has slept sound and quiet ever since. Learning how to go up and down the stairs. This one has been fun, because she was so scared, but has over come her fears and she now can go up and down.

Getting another dog was something we had talked about for a while. We never made the decision, but on Super Bowl Sunday driving home from the ski resort we saw a bunch of Blue heeler pups on the side of the road being sold. We stopped and of course loved all the dogs. M.E. stuck out to us because she wasn't as hyper as the rest. She had a sweet demeanor and we felt she would be a perfect fit for our family.

We have had her for 3 weeks now and are really enjoying our new family member. Wanda is happy because she has a play buddy and we are happy because she keeps us entertained. We have decided to cancel our cable... now that's entertainment.
