| A reenactment of a picture when they were little |
Nik and I were very excited that his brother and sister were able to come to Portland for the weekend. This was their first visit since we moved here, so it was important to us that they had a good time. Steve arrived Thursday morning, and Nik picked him up at the airport. Steve got to ride along with Nik on his route of work, while they made their way down to Eugene. That night they went to the Cal vs Oregon game. Steve went to Cal so it was very important that they fit that in and Nik was glad he could go along. The next day they headed back up to Portland to meet up with me and pick up Keri at the airport. We had a great time going from place to place around town catching up and tasting the local brews.

The next morning Steve had to catch an early flight back home, so Nik took him to the airport while Keri and I slept in. That day our friends Haley and John invited us on their boat for probably the last time this year (weather is changing quick around here). Of course we excepted and enjoyed the day out on the water, watching John and Haley tear it up. I was glad Keri got to go on the water. It is such a unique thing to do around here and it was fun sharing that with her. That night we went to dinner at Haley and John's where Haley cooked up some amazing pasta ziti. Yummy!!

It was a fantastic weekend. We missed Susie (Steve's wife) and Sam (Keri's husband), but we still made sure to have a ton of fun. Thanks guys for coming. Please come back soon!! We love you!!

You guys are such great hosts. We, all the family, are lucky you are there to go visit. Wish we could come more often. I'm sure Keri and Steve had a blast with you. oxox
