April & May

We have very busy lives nowadays. Nik has started his new career as a loan officer, I am working full time and we give all of our attention to Kins when we are home. So far this Spring, we have camped in Sierra Buttes, I visited Nana in Salt Lake City, we went to the Bay Area to visit family and friends (and of course see a Giants game) and we have been busy working on house projects. Some of the projects are making a headboard for our bed, refinishing an old record player and building a side gate in our backyard. I also have attempted my first garden this year.
McKinley is flourishing of course. She is a year and a half now and spends her time in the backyard blowup pool, running up an down our street (while the dogs chase the ball), learning to ride her bike, dancing to her favorite songs or watching Winnie the Pooh.

I must say it is not easy having a young family, trying to raise your kids right and get ahead in todays world. But, we make sure to have fun, be creative and laugh a lot.
