I feel like McKinley is growing and changing so fast. She is already holding her head up and has discovered her hands. She is starting to smile at her rattles and she is even taking a liking to bath time (as long as we blow dry her hair afterwards, she does NOT like to be cold). She has very strong little legs too. She wants to stand up when we hold her (to me it seems very weird to have a 6 week old trying to stand). Sleeping has been hit or miss. Sometimes she will sleep in her crib a whole 7-8 hours in a row, other nights it is impossible to get her to fall asleep unless she is lying on top of one of us. She is not quite laughing yet, but she is on the verge. I'm sure it will melt my heart when she does.

McKinley finally noticing her mobile aunt Sarah made her. She loves it!
This weekend we met up with some friends in Tahoe. McKinley met her first little person. Although Brynn is 2 months older, they were the same size. They were smiling at each other and really liked watching one another. It was so cute to see.

That's McKinley Blue Steel look
We also watched the older girls, Gemma and Avery learn to ski. So cool the Gifford's and the Stitser's are teaching their girls at this age. They are both going to be two very soon.

Gemma and Avery liked sledding better than skiing though

McKinley all bundled for the cold weather.

Our happy family!!
